nail prep: step 1

moisturize cuticles with nail oil

our nail oil is made from jojoba oil & vitamin e. helps strengthen & soften cuticles. strengthened = skin less likely to break. softened = easier to push back.

nail prep: step 2

push back cuticles

create a "pocket" at your nail base. this allows better seating for the press ons. will reduce any potential discomfort later on.

nail prep: step 3

allow nail oil to absorb

wait 10 minutes. massaging helps.

nail prep: step 4

wipe of excess oil with wipes

no oil left behind. leftover oil will reduce stickiness.

if you are skipping steps 5 & 6, let alcohol dry completely. alcohol damages the base of press ons.

nail prep: step 5

file your nails

optional step. our sticky tabs are file-free. filing does generally help longevity/adhesion though, so if you do file, be gentle.

nail prep: step 6

wipe dust away

no dust left behind. dust reduces stickiness. after wiping, let alcohol dry completely. alcohol damages the base of press ons.

application: step 1

find your size

the closer to your nail size the better.

application: step 2

push air out and flatten

very important step!! easiest way is to use your nails to "scrape" out the air.

application: bonus tip

go pinky to thumb

go from least used finger to most used. makes the process a lot easier.

application: step 3

press on time!

initiate contact at 45 degree angle. nail should "sit" into pocket created from earlier.

application: step 4

press press press!!!

pressing and holding works too. make sure you apply pressure to all sides of nails.

for best results, no water contact for 2 hours! allow our sticky tabs to do the magic.

removal: step 1

moisturize cuticles with nail oil

allow oil to "seep” into sides of press ons and cuticles. this protects your cuticles & nails for next steps.

removal: step 2

pry into press ons carefully

create as much separation as possible between the press ons and your nails.

if you are able to directly lift up the press ons, skip step 3 & 4.

removal: step 3

use more oil

through the separation created from step 2, you can drip oil and allow it to soften adhesion.

removal: step 4

lift up

at this point, the adhesion should be weakened enough to fully lift up the press ons.

removal: step 5

final steps

remove excess sticky tabs from your nails/press ons.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: wipe excess oil off of press ons using NON-ALCOHOL wipe (napkin, tissue, etc.) before storing in box provided. leftover oil will reduce reusability of press ons.

through these steps on nail prep, application, and removal, this should be a harmless process for both the press ons and your own nails!
