what are your nails made of?

each set is built using materials chosen specifically for that design—ranges include sculpting gels, hard gels, specialty paints, custom charms, metal accents, and more.

we don’t use an “umbrella formula.” every set has its own recipe.

how are they made?

every set is handcrafted by a dedicated artist who specializes in that style.

nail artists—like illustrators or sculptors—tend to have signature strengths (3d florals, metalwork, fine line art, sculpting, etc).

because of this, each design is assigned to the artist whose skillset makes that piece shine.

what’s the difference between masterwork and standard sets?

standard sets are crafted by artists who excel in specific techniques.

masterwork sets require cross-disciplinary ability: sculpting, painting, gem-setting, micro-detail work—sometimes all in a single design.

these are pieces that almost no one can replicate perfectly.

masterwork = the artist’s full range of skills in harmony.

how long does it take to make a set?

anywhere from several hours to multiple sessions across days, depending on complexity.

masterworks especially often require multiple curing, layering, sculpting, or hand-painting stages.

are the photos edited or filtered?

no filters.

colors may shift slightly because of lighting or screen differences, but nothing is artificially enhanced.

we provide multiple media (photos, cat photos, cat videos) to show the truest possible representation.

will the colors look the same in person?

mostly yes—but brightness, darkness, and pearlescent finishes often look better in person.

screens compress color and texture.

why might my set look slightly different from the photos?

because texture, pearlescence, and depth don’t fully translate through 2d digital photos.

upload compression also softens detail.

why doesn’t my set look identical to the example?

because they are handmade.

even with specialists crafting each set, natural micro-variations occur—never in quality, only in character.

can I request additional photos or videos?

absolutely.

how long nails stay on has nothing to do with nail quality.

it is 100% prep + glue/tabs. quality affects durability, not adhesion time.

how fragile are the nails?

the nails themselves are firm and durable----but individual elements may require mindfulness.

which elements require extra care?

• metal pieces: can oxidize if exposed to air/moisture long-term; store sealed if unused
  
• large charms: strong adhesive, but no adhesive survives rough impact
  
• thin sculpted florals, lace, butterflies: can snag or break under pressure
  
• painted surfaces: vulnerable to alcohol exposure
  

can I shower, wash dishes, or sleep with them?

sleeping is fine.

water is okay in moderation.

constant moisture + friction (like dishwashing) weakens adhesion.

what if a gem falls off?

it can happen with rough contact.

you can reattach it with nail glue—or we can assist case by case.

it corrodes paint and weakens materials faster than anything else.

are long nails suitable for everyday wear?

yes for light-use lifestyles.

who are press-ons not suitable for?

our production quality supports multiple reuses----friction is the only true enemy.

anything that significantly affects appearance or structural integrity beyond natural handmade variation.

what does not count as a defect?
